I am a Registered Psychotherapist and I am currently working towards my Play Therapy Certification through CAPT. I am passionate about helping clients reach their full potential by finding their inner strength, building their self-esteem, and strengthening their coping and regulation abilities. I believe that everyone has a story to tell, and everyone needs to be heard, valued and supported using a non-judgmental approach. Since talk therapy is not for everyone, I use creative therapies to meet client needs and help each individual on their journey.

I am an Ontario Certified Teacher with over ten years of teaching experience, primarily in the early years and supporting struggling readers. I believe bridging reading gaps can be life changing for struggling readers and I am committed to ensuring children are learning at their own pace and in a way that works for them.

I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator with a degree in Child and Youth Studies. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Education at Trent University to fulfill my dream of being a primary teacher. I have a passion for teaching children how to read and I do this by combining evidence-based programs with a responsive, relational approach. I have worked with children from diverse backgrounds, including those with learning exceptionalities and those who have experienced trauma. I use positive reinforcement and a strengths-based approach to help children feel competent, capable and motivated to learn.
